- Glucosamine sulphate (amino sugar): Glucosamine sulphate (amino sugar) is a natural substance found in cartilages, tendons and ligaments. It is utilized for the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans and glycoproteins, also provides flexibility and lubrication for enhanced movement which are necessary for construction, maintenance and proper lubrication of joints.
- Chondroitin sulphate: Chondroitin sulphate is a galactosaminoglucoronoglycan (GAG) sulphate, which is used in the synthesis of new cartilaginous matrix. It also inhibits the effect of leukocyte elastase, an enzyme which can alter fundamental components of cartilaginous matrix.
- Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM): Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) have anti-inflammatory activity, chemo preventive property, prostacyclin (PGI2) synthesis inhibition, anti-atherosclerotic action, salutary effect on eicosanoid metabolism & free radical scavenging activity.
- Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic Acid helps to maintain normal joint cushioning.
- Boswellia serrata: Boswellic acid, the major constituent of Boswellia is thought to contribute to most of the herb’s pharmacological activities. It possesses good anti-inflammatory; anti-arthritic and analgesic activities thus contributes to relief in osteoarthritis.
